Website legal policy
AVE Enterprises, an Indian partnership firm trading as Opvia
Effective date: 01 September 2026
1. About this Cookie Policy, and what it does not cover
This Policy is only about Website tracking technology. It does not describe, and is not affected by, Opvia’s employment relationships with its own India-based staff (governed by Indian law and addressed in the Privacy Policy and any workforce-specific notice), nor by where Opvia’s clients happen to be based. Whether a cookie or similar technology requires consent depends entirely on two things: what the technology actually does, and where the person visiting the Website is, not on Opvia’s client base or workforce location.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
3. Opvia's current use of cookies and tags, stated accurately
● Strictly necessary technologies operated by our hosting, security, content-management, and formdelivery infrastructure, to deliver requested pages and forms, protect the Website against misuse, balance traffic, remember a privacy choice, and diagnose technical errors.
● Google Tag Manager (GTM), a tag-management container that currently loads automatically on every page visit. GTM itself does not, by default, set advertising or analytics cookies, but it is the mechanism through which any such tag would be loaded, and it is currently not gated behind any consent choice.
● A website-builder analytics script, provided by our hosting/website-builder platform (currently GoDaddy Website Builder, loading from img1.wsimg.com), used to measure basic Website traffic and performance. This also currently loads unconditionally. Opvia does not use Google Ads tracking, Calendly, HubSpot tracking, reCAPTCHA, or another marketing tool on the Website beyond what is listed above.
4. Current technology register

[Analytics or Marketing, depending on what is configured, confirm] |
Up to 2 years, depending on the tags it loads | No, consent required before load; see Section 5 |
| Website-builder analytics script | Measures Website traffic and performance | Analytics | Up to 13 months | No, consent required before load; see Section 5 |
5. Consent, and which visitors it applies to
Google Tag Manager and any analytics or marketing tag attached to it, along with the website-builder analytics script, are treated as non-essential. They are disabled by default and will not load until a visitor makes an affirmative choice to accept them through the cookie banner shown on first visit. This applies to every visitor, not only visitors in a particular country, Opvia is choosing to run one consent standard for all Website traffic rather than showing different visitors a different experience, because doing so is simpler to implement correctly and avoids the risk of misjudging a visitor’s actual location. The banner will:
● clearly distinguish Strictly Necessary (always on) from Analytics and Marketing categories (off by default);
● provide equally prominent “Accept All,” “Reject Non-Essential,” and “Manage Preferences” options, with no preselected optional categories;
● allow the choice to be changed at any time through a persistent “Cookie Preferences” link in the Website footer; and
● record and honour a rejection in the same way it would record acceptance.
For clarity, this consent requirement is unrelated to, and does not depend on, whether a given visitor is a prospective client, a candidate, or unconnected to Opvia’s business, and it is unrelated to Opvia’s own employment law obligations to its India-based staff, which are addressed entirely separately in the Privacy Policy.
6. Browser and device controls
Most browsers allow users to view, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking all technologies may affect Website forms, security, or availability. Clearing cookies may also clear a stored privacy preference. Because Opvia does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal does not change any sale preference on the Website. Where GTM is used to load an analytics or marketing tag, Opvia will honour a detected GPC signal (or equivalent recognised browser optout signal) as a rejection of non-essential cookies for that visit, for any visitor, not only those in jurisdictions where GPC has specific legal recognition. Opvia will reassess this statement if its practices change.
7. Third-party content and links
Opvia will not embed a third-party feature that loads optional tracking technology before implementing the disclosures and choices required by applicable law.
8. Duration
Session technologies ordinarily end with the browser session. A strictly necessary preference record, if used, may remain for up to 12 months so the Website can remember the choice. Analytics and marketing technologies, where consented to, persist for the periods shown in Section 4. Security records may be retained for a reasonable period needed to investigate abuse, protect the Website, and meet legal obligations.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, purposes, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will show the latest revision. Opvia will update the Policy and, where required, the consent interface before materially changing optional tracking practices.
